Nigerian street-pop heavyweight Seyi Vibez opens another chapter with SWAGUU, a 14-track album released in September 2026 and executive produced by Burna Boy.
The project follows 2025’s FUJI MOTO and catches Seyi Vibez looking beyond survival-driven street narratives towards ambition, status, relationships and the pressures that come with success. American rapper Quavo is the album’s only featured artist, keeping most of the record centred firmly on Seyi Vibez.
Across the project, he moves between street-pop, Afrobeats and rap-influenced ideas while retaining the Yoruba-led writing and expressive vocal style that have become central to his music. Burna Boy’s executive production credit also adds an interesting layer to a record built around Seyi Vibez’s current position and wider ambitions.
His rise from street-pop favourite to one of Nigeria’s most recognisable contemporary acts gives the album a sizeable audience from the outset. More importantly, the project shows an artist continuing to expand his scope without abandoning the identity that built that following.
The album is available across major digital streaming platforms. Give the full project a listen and share your thoughts in the comments.
