After months of snippet circulation, Nigerian Afrobeats star Kizz Daniel officially releases “Owo Oluwa,” joining Young Jonn, Krizbeatz and Wave Choir on a faith-centred record whose Yoruba title translates to “The Hand of God.”
The writing is rooted in gratitude, divine protection and recognition of God’s role through different stages of life. Young Jonn adds another melodic voice, while Wave Choir strengthens the communal praise character. The release follows Kizz Daniel’s June appearance with Naira Marley on “Ijoba.”
Krizbeatz handles the production, shaping an Afro-gospel leaning arrangement around Kizz Daniel’s melodic lead, Young Jonn’s contribution and the fuller choral passages. The choir gives the record a wider, collective feel without pushing the lead performances aside.
