Nigerian singer FOLA brings familiar collaborators Bella Shmurda and Zlatan together on “it’s over,” extending a 2026 run that has kept him firmly in Nigeria’s Afrobeats conversation.
The writing addresses the end of a relationship, with the three-artist line-up adding different voices to its emotional direction. FOLA already shares recording history with both guests, while the single follows his August release “attention!”.
The record sits between Afrobeats and R&B, keeping melody central while dividing the vocal space among FOLA, Bella Shmurda and Zlatan. That collaborative structure gives the song more movement than a straightforward solo break-up record.
FOLA enters the release with considerable momentum after “Paparazzi” with Shoday reached No. 1 on Nigeria’s Official Top 100 earlier in 2026. Reuniting with two artists already connected to important points in his catalogue gives the new collaboration an established audience from the outset.
